August 2023 SpecChem Masterclass - Xi'an

Each year, we strive to improve our training by providing a platform for problem-solving classroom sessions through classroom instruction and hands-on exercises in product knowledge, applications and technology. Our U.S. headquarters has a 15,000 sq. ft. training centre at a manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Kansas, which allows for live instructional demonstrations and hands-on product applications, providing contractors with a comprehensive perspective and a wealth of knowledge, which will increase our contractors' construction and problem-solving capabilities and enhance their knowledge of specialty concrete chemicals, cementitious repair products, grouting, epoxies, and cleaners. We are extending this platform to our contractors.

We have extended this platform to the China region, and since the first edition was successfully held in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province in 2018, many of our distributors and construction partners have been able to actively participate in the programme to learn from the busy schedules and enhance the application skills and capabilities of our personnel.

The 11th SpecChem Masters Meeting will be held on 17 August 2023 at Shaanxi Construction Technician College (Changning Campus), with the participation of a number of top international brands. At the same time there are on-site hands-on cutting-edge flooring machinery and equipment operation demonstration, sandblasting / grinding / shot blasting technology, decorative concrete, integral flooring, new polyurea and organic inorganic hybrid flooring technology applications. Absorbing advanced theoretical knowledge and construction technology, bringing the most intuitive and comprehensive on-site experience and the most cutting-edge product knowledge, construction method, in order to share and advance together.

The leaders attending the event were: Han Dafu, Chairman of Shaanxi Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, Yue Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee & President of Shaanxi Construction Institute of Technology, and Pan Yudong, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Civil Engineering and Architecture Society's Professional Committee of Ground Engineering and Technology, which allowed us to know more about the historical development and function of the Society and the original intention and honour of the founding of Shaanxi Construction Institute. Thank you for the attendance and wonderful speeches of the leaders, which added light and colour to the event! After the meeting, the leaders also went to the practical area to watch and guide.

At the beginning of the conference, first of all, we would like to invite Mr Jane Leung, Sales Director of Western Region of SpecChem, to bring you the introduction of Total Flooring 4.0, which is an all-round solution and product support service about the total flooring to achieve the overall delivery, full control of the quality, saving time and material cost and green environment.

Mr Schwerin Fapang introduced the basic knowledge of concrete and curing agent theory connotation, so that we have a deeper understanding of the principle of liquid penetrating curing agent for concrete, etc., and better able to identify the many types of curing agent on the market, and really pick a good material suitable for flooring.

Mr Chen Chen

Mr Chen Chen, Operation Manager of Solomons China, brought us a course on the application of decorative concrete in the flooring industry, introducing the origin of decorative concrete, different programmes for different areas, etc. On the site, we also prepared a lot of hands-on sample areas, so that we could watch the construction process of decorative concrete as well as the ground rendering effect up close and personal.

Xiamen Yuxin Diamond Tools Company Limited Mr Pan Haonan

Mr Pan Haonan, Sales Manager of Yuxin, brought the course "The Importance of Correctly Selecting Abrasive Discs in Construction", the selection of abrasive discs is also crucial to the construction, and choosing the right tool will surely get twice the result with half the effort.

SpecChem (China) Limited Mr Feng Jinling

Mr. Feng Jinling, the person in charge of the R&D centre of SpecChem, is also a very good old-timer in R&D. Thanks to him, he gave us a detailed introduction to the application of the new organic and inorganic hybrid flooring technology, outlining the origins of the various types of flooring problems in many constructions, which benefited the guests a lot.

Husqvarna Building Products (Xiamen) Limited Mr Lu Qiyue

Thanks to Mr Lu Qiangyue, Sales Manager of Husqvarna, for bringing us the theoretical knowledge and practical application course of sandblasting/grinding/blasting machine, from the origin of the enterprise to its establishment till now, it has researched and developed many types and models of machinery and equipment suitable for many industries, and it is also one of the global long-established industrial brands, contributing to the construction works.

Mr Samuel Liu, Shenzhen Weir Flooring Material Co.

Mr Samuel Liu, Executive Deputy General Manager of Weir Company, introduced a variety of functional marking paint and new polyurea flooring, the whole course speech was impassioned, thanks to Mr Liu for the wonderful lectures.
