HOMEFIELD was established in Autumn 2019 and is committed to providing a pathway to the pros for every athlete who enters the gates.Homefield has state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the amateur sports and training experience.

Homefield KC's newest facility includes a 150,000+ square foot indoor athletic field with 10 basketball and 12 volleyball courts, as well as eight outdoor baseball fields. The state-of-the-art sports complex specifies 100% SpecChem products and already uses dozens of SpecChem products, with SpecFilm, LithSeal SC, SpecPlate, SpecGuard, and All Shield WB also widely used in the country.

SpecFilm SpecFilm Anti-Evaporation Retarder, when applied to fresh concrete, creates a thin, continuous film to block rapid water loss. Provides the team with more time to achieve the desired finish.

The corridor aisles were treated with LithSeal SC Spray Lithium Curing Compound, a premium lithium silicate sealer/densifier for concrete surfaces. The treated surface will maintain air permeability, reduce porosity, minimise dust, reduce water permeability, increase abrasion resistance and enhance surface brightness.

SpecPlate cement-based self-levelling flooring system was used for the spectator stand of the basketball court. The stability and excellent flow of the self-levelling material ensures high levelling and durability of the floor, while the natural texture of the material can easily be harmoniously presented with other elements in the overall space, providing the designer with a simple, natural and durable overall effect, which is in line with the new concept of contemporary design.

Some of the staircases and steps in the arena are covered with SpecChem's inorganic grinding stone flooring system, which is a flooring system based on inorganic materials (concrete, decorative aggregates, concrete sealing treatments, etc.) and provides the surface with excellent hardness, abrasion resistance, and visible and long-lasting reflectivity, as well as excellent usability and decorative effects.

Inorganic millstones are used in conjunction with protectant-based products for greater functionality and performance. For example, All Shield WB, a clear, permeable, breathable protectant for indoor and outdoor concrete, natural or synthetic stone surfaces, resists water, oil, food stains and other liquid contaminants. It can also be combined with SpecGuard SpecGuard Surface Glazing Antifouling for a high gloss effect and visual aesthetics.
