April 2019 SpecChem Masterclass - Shanghai

Integral flooring construction application is a key link to the success of a project case, but also an important part of the high-quality and efficient construction of the flooring system. 2019 China Integral Flooring Large-scale Joint On-site Technical Exchange Meeting (Shanghai Station), held on 18 April 2019 in Fengxian, Shanghai, aims to speed up the construction of the integral flooring and to promote the high-quality development of the flooring industry.


SpecChem Chemistry, Schomallo, Jiegong Machinery, and KeYiXin have been actively providing advanced flooring application products, levelling technology, smoothing technology and construction guidance solutions for the overall flooring. In this event, the four in one introduced the solutions of each link of the whole concrete flooring: the solution of the whole concrete flooring of Schönberg Chemical, the application of high-quality whole concrete flooring construction process in the logistics industry, the ratio of the concrete for the whole flooring, how to solve the problem of cracking of the flooring concrete, the rules of the Golden Trowel Award and the release of Schönberg Chemical's new products to explain. The event was supported by Flooring Branch of China Building Materials Federation, and also by Shanghai Yingye Exhibition Co.

The conference mainly elaborated the current overall flooring materials and solutions for the participants. SpecChem pushed forward on the basis of the overall flooring applications and shared some of the new products: - SpecPU new solvent-free polyurethane flooring system; - SpecChem new thin-layer polyurethane mortar self-levelling flooring; - Parking lot new Le Parking solvent-free epoxy flooring; - SpecPoxy epoxy grinding stone system; - SpecFilm evaporation retarder, a new concept of concrete crack prevention during the moulding period. Among them, SpecFilm evaporation retarder stood out and impressed the participants with its excellent performance.

Based on the many unfavourable factors in the current construction environment, many concrete in the moulding period can not be effectively protected, which has a great impact on the polishing and shaping effect of concrete, the new concept of concrete moulding crack prevention products SpecFilm came into being. The product has long-lasting moisturising properties, which can effectively improve the cracking of concrete during the moulding period and reduce the phenomenon of blooming; and it has an auxiliary effect on plastering, so that the plasterers will find the grinding machine works smoothly and freely.

The new concept of concrete crack prevention product SpecFilm can easily and freely deal with the surface treatment of concrete, suitable for concrete, wear-resistant flooring, terrazzo construction applications, and has been successfully used in Jiu Lu Wang, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lee & Man Paper and other projects. Its efficient construction performance and excellent and stable product quality not only enhance the surface quality of the flooring for customers, but also shorten the project completion cycle and greatly improve the construction efficiency by virtue of its smoothing-assisted performance.

Through the theoretical and practical explanations and exercises by SPECMASTERS, SpecChem, Schomallo, Jiegong Machinery, and KeYiXin, the participants deeply appreciated the application concept, process and effect of the whole flooring, and all of them deeply realised that this will be the future development trend and necessary means.
